Stress

Stress is not bad, its the type of stress. A twenty-minute workout during the fitness center for a healthy twenty-five-year-old is good stress. A similar exercise for your seventy-five-year-old grandmother would likely be horrible stress!

Physical Stress

So are slips and falls. Even being born! Repeated movements like painting the ceiling, postural distortions,  sleep with your neck in a twisted motion and whiplash injury from a car or truck accident are physical stresses. So are slip and falls. Birth is also stressful!

Mental Stress

Ever faced an impossible deadline at the office? Or grieved the loss of a loved one? See the posture of someone that is miserable. Irritation or a sense of helplessness at the office is typical types of mental stress.

Chemical Stress

Today’s natural environment continuously assaults us with chemicals. Drugs, pollen, host, preservatives, alcohol, tobacco and other substances can affect our nervous muscle and system tone. If your body responds by tripping a circuit breaker and leading to vertebral subluxation, chiropractic care can help.
